The beautiful country side of Stafford County near historic Fredericksburg Virginia provides the ideal location for a day of cycling.  Secluded woodland roads, agricultural fields and horse farms in the midst of historic locations from the colonial era and the civil war form the backdrop for the Fredericksburg Cyclists' 

18th Annual Cannonball Century


Date: Sunday September 24, 2017


Location: Curtis Memorial Park, 58 Jesse Curtis Ln, Hartwood, VA


Time: Day of ride registration opens at 7:30 and closes at 9 a.m.


Fees: Until August 15 - $40/rider - under 12 free

         August 16 - September 16 - $50/rider - under 12 free

T-Shirt: Optional t-Shirt available for $15 with preregistration


Route Distances: 30, 67 and 102 miles


Perks: Great rest stops, free post-ride lunch at Curtis Park with music and free massages. Excellent SAG and mechanical support throughout the ride.  Clear cue sheets and road markings with additional communication services offered by the Rappahannock Area Amateur Radio Club. 


Charities: The Fredericksburg Cycling Club donates a portion of the proceeds to a variety of local charities.


Restaurant Discounts: Several Fredericksburg restaurants will be offering meal discounts for the week following the Cannonball. A discount card will be given out at registration which can then be taken to the participating restaurants.
