Membership Application To join the Fredericksburg Cyclist Club, please click on this link and complete the two-page application form and waiver. Return the completed form and the signed waiver to the address on page one and include a check payable to FCC. For family memberships, multiple family members may be listed on page one. The Release and Waiver of Liability must be completed and signed by every rider for each calendar year. Your membership will not be activated until the waiver is signed for the current year. A parent or legal guardian must sign for riders under the age of eighteen.
General Insurance Brochure While participating in a recreational bicycle ride organized, conducted, and supervised by the Fredericksburg Cyclists Club, current members and first-time riders are covered by the League of American Bicyclists (LAB) General Liability & Participant Accident insurance.
Basic coverage includes: (1) Accidental Medical Coverage:$10,000 per person per accident in excess of a $500 per claim deductible and in excess of any other valid and collectible insurance; (2) Accidental Death & Dismemberment: $5,000 per person per accident.
Special Events requiring an entry fee are covered by a separate policy. The club does not carry optional liability insurance for directors and officers. (See brochure for more details.)
Roster and Waiver (signup sheet) This document must be available and completed for all recreational bicycle rides organized, conducted, and supervised by the FCC. (All rides advertised on the official Rides Calendar located on the website; www.bikfred.com) The designated Ride Leader will complete the section in the middle of the page: NAME OF RIDE, DATE, TIME, NAME OF RIDE LEADER. The Ride Leader will encourage all participants to sign the roster. (Only those riders who are current members and have signed this form will be covered by the FCC’s Participant Accident Insurance.) After the ride, the Ride Leader will forward the completed Roster and Waiver to the Ride Captain.

Group Ride and Accident This League of American Bicyclists (LAB) form must be completed by the Ride Leader to report bodily injury/auto accident/ property damage from an accident that occurs on an official club ride. The Ride Leader should coordinate further action with the Ride Captain and the Club President.
