Bob's Hartwood Reverse Ride

Ride start 8:00 a.m.

The Hartwood Reverse has developed solid attendance in the last 6 months and is a crowd pleaser.  The unique thing about this ride is that groups of the same fitness/speed level can stay together for the first 30 miles due to the level/slightly lumpy terrain. The ride usually breaks down into several groups for different speeds. Rest stop at a store where refreshments may be bought for the 33 and 42 mile routes.
Also, the two hills are saved until the end when they are the only thing between you and finish!  Generally, all of the rides finish near the same time!
Be sure to download new Cue SheetsWe are going to ride out of the Hartwood Elementary School which is on the corner of Hartwood Road (Route 612) and Shackleford Well.  We have riders from all levels and distances of 16, 33 and 42 miles.  All the routes leave the school taking us out the southern part of Stafford to the quiet roads of Fauquier county.

To get to the school take I-95 to Route 17 North towards Warrenton, Exit 133B. Go approximately 7 miles and make a right on Route 612. This right is at the light at the Hartwood post office and before the Hartwood Volunteer Fire Department.  Travel about .2 mile and the school is on your right.  There is a parking lot on the road; we will meet there.
