Bob's Hartwood Reverse Ride

Ride start 10:00 a.m.

The Hartwood Reverse is a crowd pleaser, especially so with riders that enjoy simple pace line riding.  The unique thing about this ride is that groups of the same fitness/speed level can stay together for the first 30 miles due to the level terrain. The ride usually breaks down into several groups for different speeds. The rest stop is at a store where refreshments may be bought on the 33 and 42 mile routes. There is no established rest stop on the 16 mile ride. Generally, all of the rides finish near the same time!

Be sure to download new Cue SheetsWe ride out of the Hartwood Elementary School which is on the corner of Hartwood Road (Route 612) and Shackleford Well.  All the routes leave the school taking us out the southern part of Stafford to the quiet roads of Fauquier county.

To get to the school take I-95 to Route 17 North towards Warrenton, Exit 133B. Go approximately 7 miles and make a right on Route 612. This right is at the light at the Hartwood post office and before the Hartwood Volunteer Fire Department.  Travel about .2 mile and the school is on your right.  There is a parking lot on the road; we will meet there.
