This will be a 100+/- mile ride on Skyline Drive with the goal of 10000 ft of total elevation change. Riders will meet at the Dickey Ridge Visitor Center (mile post 4.5 on Skyline drive south of Front Royal) for an 8 am start. Route will be along Skyline Drive from the Visitor Center to Big Meadows and return. The ride will begin with a descent to the park entrance at Front Royal followed by a reverse uphill climb to begin the ride to Big Meadows.
All riders without Shenandoah National Park passes will be required to pay $10 at the Park entrance. If you have a pass, be sure to bring identification as well.
Food and drink are available at Big Meadows
Bike lights are mandatory!!
