Willowmere Park Ride
Start time: 10 AM
Ride Desription - This ride starts from the first rest stop of the Cannonball Century and depending on the ride distance you travel past Sumerduck, across Kellys Ford, through Remington and return. Distance options are 24, 38 and 52 miles. Restooms are available at start. Terrain is slightly to moderately rolling with a few short challenging climbs.
Directions - Travel US 17 north from I 95 4.3 miles. Turn right on Rt 616 Popular Rd. Travel 6.8 miles and turn right on Mountain View Rd (across from old country store). Go 0.6 miles and turn right onto Willowmere Pond Rd. Go 0.1 miles and turn right into park. Proceed straight into large parking lot. Ride Leader: Al Matera 703-455-1987 a.matera1@verizon.net
