Secluded woodland roads, ranches and farms form the backdrop for Fredericksburg Cyclist's 21st annual Cannonball Century, scheduled for 25 September 2021. Plan your visit to include historic downtown Fredericksburg with craft breweries, antique shops, unique family-owned restaurants as well as civil war era attractions, recognizing a pivotal time in our Nation's history.
Start & end at Curtis Memorial Park at 58 Jesse Curtis Lane Hartwood, Virginia, northwest of Fredericksburg, at the main pavilion.
Three route options include a half-metric, metric and century, with cue-sheets and road markings so you won't get lost in a cornfield!
Support is provided throughout the ride and at five rest stops to equip you along the way.
Other activities are available from Curtis park including playgrounds, golf, disc-golf, fishing, field activities and hiking. Historic downtown Fredericksburg offers unique dining, breweries, shops and tours. Don't forget to stop by Carl's Frozen Custard or one of three area bicycle shops.
