The Cannonball Century

The beautiful countryside of Stafford and Fauquier counties near historic Fredericksburg provides the ideal site for a fun, safe day of community bicycling. Secluded woodland roads, ranches and farms form the backdrop for Fredericksburg Cycling Club's 19th Annual Cannonball Century. If you're new to the area, Fredericksburg also has many civil war era attractions, recognizing a pivotal time in our Nation's history, so plan for a longer visit.

Lost in a cornfield

Registration: Event registration is closed. Cost is $40 through August 15th, $50 through September 16th and $60 for onsite day of event, with Performance T-shirts extra.

Time: Check-in opens at 7:00 AM and the event closes by 6 PM

Route Distances: 30, 67 and 102 miles

Support: This is one of the few rides hosted by a cycling club, with fine rest stops to equip you along the way followed by a complete post-ride lunch. It has clear cue sheets and road markings with excellent support throughout the ride - so you won't get lost in a cornfield! 

Other Activities: Curtis and Willomere parks offer activities for the whole family, including playgrounds, golf, disc-golf, fishing, field activities and hiking.

Charities: The club donates a portion of the proceeds to a variety of local charities.
