The Eastern Shore Century
The faculty and staff of Chesapeake College invite you to the Eastern Shore Century, a cycling fundraiser on Saturday April 26th, 2014 in scenic Wye Mills.
Enjoy an early spring ride through some of the most beautiful countryside on Maryland's remote and beautiful Eastern Shore. Cycle over bridges, alongside expansive and rolling fields and through small towns on two distinctive courses, including a 37 mile Rural Ride, and 64 mile Shore Century. In celebration of Earth Day, the college is striving to make this a green event and has committed to plant a tree for every rider.
Rural Ride - A 37 mile course through many farms and tree-canopied back roads.
Shore Century - A 64 mile (100K) metric century course, crossing Tuckahoe River 5 times, including a beautiful midpoint rest stop on the lake at Tuckahoe Park.
