DESCRIPTION
On September 14, 2025, the FCC will host a the same starting location as last year and our three distance options offer the safest, quietest and most beautiful routes. Our event location will be at the Massaponax High School at 8201 Patriot Hwy. in Fredericksburg, VA 22407. We will use the entire asphalt parking lot on the south side of the school and start the event by the gates of the High School’s football stadium. Bathrooms will be open as well as extra porta johns available and fruit and cold drinks to assist riders in preparing for their ride.
The three courses will include a 32 miler (Half Metric), a 65 miler (Metric) and a full 100 miler (Century) thru some of Spotsylvania and Caroline County’s most scenic and quiet roads. RideWithGPS maps will be available to all participants and the course will return to painted arrows before and after every turn.
There will be well stocked and manned rest stops along the routes, including the one at Massaponax High School at the start and finish. Each rest stop will offer the basic rider’s needs plus a very friendly and helpful staff.
We are happy to announce that our local charitable partner this year is SAWS!
SAWs Virginia is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that builds custom designed, wooden wheelchair ramps for impoverished persons with long-term, ambulatory disabilities. Our goal is to restore the freedom, independence and dignity allowing them to access medical services more easily, improve the safety of their home, reconnect with their community and age-in-place.
