Welcome to the 40th Anniversary of the Fredericksburg Cyclists Club’s Cannonball Classic Century Event.

On September 28, 2024, the FCC will unveil a new starting location and three new routes that will offer the safest, quietest and most beautiful routes ever. Our new location will be at the Massaponax High School at 8201 Patriot Hwy. in Fredericksburg, VA 22407. We will use the entire asphalt parking lot on the south side of the school and start the event by the gates of the High School’s football stadium. There will be extra porta johns available and fruit and cold drinks to assist riders in preparing for their ride.

The three new courses will include a 32 miler (Half Metric), a 65 miler (Metric) and a full 100 miler (Century) thru some of Spotsylvania and Caroline County’s most scenic and quiet roads. RideWithGPS maps will be available to all participants and the course will return to painted arrows before and after every turn.

There will be five well stocked and manned rest stops along the routes, including the one at Massaponax High School at the start and finish. Each rest stop will offer the basic rider’s needs plus have one special surprise…. In addition to friendly and helpful staff.
