Veteran's Day Ride

Veteran's Day Ride.  Time 10 AM

Our Veteran's Day rides will start from the Caroline County Recreation Center located just south of Bowling Green on Route 301.  It's the old Caroline/Union High School.  

We will have rides of 27, 46 and 65 miles riding on some of the quietest roads in Caroline and King William counties.  PLEASE NOTE THAT A SECTION OF THE 65-MILE ROUTE WAS CHIP SEALED IN EARLY OCTOBER.   ABOUT 3 MILES.  I UNDERSTAND IT'S NOT THAT BAD, BUT BE AWARE.  

There are no stores on the  27 mile route with the exception of Dhillon's in Milford, but that is just two miles from the end.  The 600 Market which is on the 46 and 65 mile routes is closed on Mondays.  Please use Dick's Store (65 miles only) and the Frog Level Market (65 and 46 miles).  There is a hose at the 600 market if you need water before Frog Level Market.  

These routes are not marked.  Please download a cue sheet from these RWGPS files if you need one.

Since we have not ridden in this area for some time (you will like it), please ensure you get my cell number at sign-in so we can come rescue you if you break down or end up at King's Dominion.  540-842-0320
