Curtis Park Ride
Distance: 20, 30, 50, 56 and 67 miles
Join us for a quiet ride through the hills of South Stafford. The grade is considered moderate. Enjoy the scenery as you roll along the countryside. The longer route will encounter a store or two along the way but you will want to bring your own food/water for the shorter routes.
To get to Curtis Park from I-95:
Take I-95 North or South to exit #133B, the Route 17 North exit towards Warrenton. Travel almost 7 miles. You then make a right on to Hartwood Road and travel about two miles. You will see the park entrance on your right
To get to Curtis Park from Warrenton:
Follow Route 17 South until you get to Stork Road, Route 691. You follow that to the end (about two miles) then make a right. In less than a mile you will see the park entrance on your left.
When you drive into the park go to the back and look for everyone parked in the Pool parking lot.
Planned Route:. The Ride Leader plans to do the Melrose Castle 55 mile route. The course will start as the reverse-Cannonball then goes NW to Melrose Castle.
