U.S. Chamber of Commerce Ad Shoot – The national Chamber of Commerce will be shooting a commercial in Fredericksburg on Thursday, July 26, and, through Terry Dorn have asked the Fredericksburg Cyclists (limited to 20 riders) for our assistance.  They will pay each rider $75 for the days shoot. We can work out a portion of that if you can only stay a half-day.  They will also provide lunch and snacks during the day.  (I wonder if they know how much a cyclist can eat?)  All you need to do is show up at the start with your helmet, bike and a jersey.  I (Stan) plan to ride from home.

The ad shoot will involve several scenes, two in town and one outside of town near a corn field.  For the in town scenes the police will be blocking the streets.  There will no doubt be multiple takes for each scene.  We will be riding in a group and, in at least one scene will simulate a race (nothing daring or technical).
It will be a relaxing day, bike riding, free food, supporting Fredericksburg and the bike club.  You might want to bring an extra jersey if it's really hot and sweaty and some comfortable clothes for hang-around time.

Start - Meet at the intersection of Caroline and Hanover at 8:30 a.m.
Registrations - On registration you can select to participate all day, in the morning only or in the afternoon only.
