Description: Come out on this no traffic and peaceful ride. There is a 24 mile route which is an out and back and another route about 35 miles which is included. These routes are scenic and have a few rollers. Towards the end of the ride the wildlife comes out and is fun to watch while finishing up your ride. There will be a ride leader to sponsor you on base (please be sure to register, especially if you don't have base access) and you may be able to get a pass for the year. If you Have an ID that can get you on base, perfect!
Start Point: AP Hill on Rt. 301. Enter the North Gate and after clearing the security checkpoint, proceed up A.P. Hill Drive for 1.8 miles to Fortune Rd. Turn right on Fortune and proceed 1.3 miles to the stop sign at the corner of Fortune and Wilcox. Turn right and the parking lot will be on your immediate left.
