This ride is a 32-mile, conversational paced ride from Lenn Park off Stevensburg Road (1 mile north of route 3 at Stevensburg). It is the same ride we did for the President's Day ride. Meet at the south end of the park next to the children's playground.
Porta-a-potty is available.
This ride will go to Rapidan and return via very low traffic roads which are more like 30-foot wide bike paths. Riders are, of course, free to ride at their own pace and with their own groups, but the ride leader will treat this a no-drop making sure everyone is keeping up and accounted for.
Riders who prefer to go longer can exercise the same 40-mile option to Lignum and back as we did during the President's Day ride. The really ambitious can go past Rapidan to Clark Mountain road and do the climb to the top of Clark Mountain.
The less ambitious- which includes the ride leader-will smell the roses and enjoy the views of Clark Mountain and the Rapidan River.
