Rapidan Ride
Location: Lenn Park, 19206 Edwin Way, Culpeper, VA 22701
This is the first Thursday "Variety Pack" ride from Stevensburg (AKA "Rapidan rides).
We will start from and return to Lenn Park (playground area) on Stevensburg Road (Rt 663) one mile north of Route 3. Lenn Park has porta-potties and ample parking.
This route goes thru Lignum, crosses route 3 then passes by the Inn at Kelly's Ford. It takes you past Brandy Station battlefield.
Water and food available at Southern States convenience store right after crossing Rt 29 (light) at Elkwood. (20 miles)
For the shortcut after crossing Alanthus road at mile 22,, continue on Auburn road to Inlet. Proceed on course.
