Hanover Courthouse "Variety Pack" ride
This is the first Hanover ride in the Variety Pack rotation. It starts at Hanover Courthouse Park just south of Hanover Courthouse. There are restrooms there. Parking and meeting will be on the side nearest the restrooms.
This ride will have two lengths. The longest is 42 miles with an optional 32-mile shortcut. Both rides use the old stage road down from Dawn which comes out at the Littlepage Bridge over the Pamunkey River. The rest of the route is down 301 through Hanover Courthouse and to the park. We have never experienced an issue on this stretch.
On the 42-mile route the first rest stop is Hebron Church at 16 miles. The second stop is 600 Market at 28 miles.
On the 32-mile route the stops are Hebron Church and if needed, a slight deviation from the route to Dick's County Store 200 yards on the left past the right turn onto Edgar Road.
