Olde Towne Bicycles Ride
This week we have the staff at Olde Towne Bicycles joining us for the ride! They are here to mingle with the club, possibly demo some cool new things, and most importantly, they plan to ride with us! I hope make them feel welcome and be sure to thank them for all the support they provide the club.
Location: Spotsylvania YMCA,

Distances: Ride Sheets - Right on Massaponax Church Rd. (36, 41, 50, 55, and 60 Mile Options); Left on Massaponax Church Rd. (20, 35, 46, 67 Mile Options)
Description: This ride takes you through the south part of Spotsylvania and surrounding counties (for longer distance selection) and provides some gently rolling hills and beautiful scenery.

Please park at the back of the church in the parking area on the left. There are no restroom facilities available, so plan accordingly.
Please do not change clothes outside of your car because they have youth events that occur on some ride evenings.
A headlight and taillight are highly recommended in case you do not finish prior to sunset.

Thursday Evening Ride
Andrews Chapel UMC

Time: 6 PM
Please park near the gazebo and not near the main building.
There are no restroom facilities available at the church. There are restrooms available at Aquia Landing Park.
Distances: 11, 17, 20 and 25. The 11 mile route is relatively flat and the 17, 20 and 25 mile routes will be more challenging.

Massaponax Church Ride

Location: 4700 Massaponax Church Rd
Routes are the same as the YMCA routes. The "Stonewall Bridge" routes marked with double white arrows, are 4 miles shorter than indicated on the route sheets.
Routes going west to the courthouse and joining the existing Bistro routes will be four miles longer.

Directions: From Lafayette Blvd, turn on Lee Drive and go over the big hill and park in the circle at the bottom of the hill on your left in Fredericksburg, VA near the corner of Rt3 and Lafayette.
Time: 8pm to 9pm.
Terrain: Flat to rolling with one big hill that is optional on the route. Members can turn around in the parking circle before the big hill as an option.

Carolne County Ride Time 9 AM
Our Caroline County ride will start from the Caroline County Recreation Center located just south of Bowling Green on Route 301. It's the old Caroline/Union High School.
We will have rides of 27, 46 and 65 miles riding on some of the quietest roads in Caroline and King William counties.
There are no stores on the 27 mile route with the exception of Dhillon's in Milford, but that is just two miles from the end. The 600 Market on Frog Level road is available for the 46-mile riders (18 mile mark) as well as the 65 (39 mile mark). 65-mile riders needing water can take a detour to this store. Adds 2 miles to the total route. Dick's County Store on Rte 30 is available for the 65 mile riders (34 mile mark). Frog Level store on Rte 301 is available for both 36 and 65 rides. Port-a-potty available.

Ride Description - Ride starting from Willowmere Park in NW Stafford. This ride takes you through much of the FCC Cannonball Century area. The courses are marked (different marks from Cannonball) with Dan Henry marks (painted white circle with directional line). There are stores along the routes. Distance options are 25, 33 and 45 miles. Restrooms are available at start/end. Terrain is slightly to moderately rolling. Click here for Cue Sheets
If riders wish to do the 50 mile ride from the Tour de Willowmere, that route is also available.
Directions - Travel US 17 North from I-95 4.3 miles. Turn right on Rt 616 Popular Rd. Travel 6.8 miles and turn right on Mountain View Rd (across from old country store). Go 0.6 miles and turn right onto Willowmere Pond Rd. Go 0.1 miles and turn right into park. Proceed straight into large parking lot.

Welcome to the annual Cannonball Century scheduled for Saturday, September 28th, 2019. We are happy to have you join us! The ride starts and ends at Curtis Park in Hartwood, Virginia (Northwest Fredericksburg) with check-in and go as early as 7AM. See location & directions to Curtis Park.
There are three route options, so pick the route that you are ready for - even if it doesn't match your registration. Note that there are minor route adjustments this year to ensure rider safety. Also, it's imperative that riders follow all traffic laws.
