Patawomeck Park River Stroll
Ride Description - Stafford County has a hidden gem known as Widewater. Patawomeck Park has restrooms and the route will take you into two worlds. The first is a fast paced, fairly level out and back along the Potomac River. The terrain lends for a fast start, but you are able to go at any pace. Once we return to the park you can cut the ride short, or you can hop on Route 1 a short way then do another Out and back on Quantico Marine base. Another option would be to do the shorter route twice to avoid the base.
Ride leader: Dave Wright
Time; 10 AM
Location: 4700 Massaponax Church Rd
Routes are the same as the YMCA routes. The "Stonewall Bridge" routes marked with double white arrows, are 4 miles shorter than indicated on the route sheets.
Routes going west to the courthouse and joining the existing Bistro routes will be four miles longer.
