Location: Spotsylvania YMCA,
5700 Smith Station Rd.
Distances: Right on Massaponax Church Rd. (36, 41, 50, 55, and 60 Mile Options); Left on Massaponax Church Rd. (20, 35, 46, 67 Mile Options)
Description: This ride takes you through the south part of Spotsylvania and surrounding counties (for longer distance selection) and provides some gently rolling hills and beautiful scenery.
We have a No Drop option on most days that will average 12 - 16 mph based on group interest.

Tuesday Evening Ride!
Location: Mormon Church
20 Boscobel Rd., Fredericksburg, VA 22405
Please park at the back of the church in the parking area on the left. There are no restroom facilities available, so plan accordingly. The average pace for this ride is between 15 mph to 19 mph depending on the riders that show up. The route is well marked at the turn points. The majority of the ride is on back roads that don't have a lot of vehicle traffic and are safe.
Please do not change clothes outside of your car because they have youth events that occur on some ride evenings.

Thursday Evening Ride

Please park near the gazebo and not near the main building.
There are no restroom facilities available at the church. There are restrooms available at Aquia Landing Park.
This is a faster paced ride due to the relatively flat route. There is a section of "rollers" and one hill on the route that can be challenging, but fun. The average pace for this ride is 16 mph - 20 mph. The route is well marked and several of the legs are in neighborhoods or back roads and very safe.
Distances: 11, 17, 20 and 25. The 11 mile route is relatively flat and the 17, 20 and 25 mile routes will be more challenging.

Ride Description - Ride starting from Willowmere Park in NW Stafford. This ride takes you through much of the FCC Cannonball Century area. The courses are marked (different marks from Cannonball) with Dan Henry marks (painted white circle with directional line). There are stores along the routes. Distance options are 25, 33 and 45 miles. Restrooms are available at start/end. Terrain is slightly to moderately rolling. Click here for Cue Sheets
If riders wish to do the 50 mile ride from the Tour de Willowmere, that route is also available.
Directions - Travel US 17 North from I-95 4.3 miles. Turn right on Rt 616 Popular Rd. Travel 6.8 miles and turn right on Mountain View Rd (across from old country store). Go 0.6 miles and turn right onto Willowmere Pond Rd. Go 0.1 miles and turn right into park. Proceed straight into large parking lot.

Thunder Ridge Challenge
Challenge yourself by climbing the Thunder Ridge Strava segment as many times as you can. How fast can you get to the top? Club bragging rights for the fastest climb and most times climbed. Can you do it?
It is a beautiful ride as well as a challenge. Come out and ride and cheer others on!

We will meet at the James River Visitor Center. Mile Post 63.7 of the Blueridge Parkway.
Note: Bring your own food and water as there are no stores nearby.
The website for the Blue Ridge Parkway says the bathrooms and picnic area at the Visitor center is open but the visitor center is closed.

"Ride with Balloons" Ride
Start time: 0730
Ride Description - The route will have us starting just off Route 17 in Bealeton along side dozens of hot air balloons (depending on wind direction).
We will offer a couple of group options that will ride at different speeds. Kelly Rapkins has offered to lead the 14-15 mph group and will ensure that the group stays together. The Ride Leader will lead the 16-18 mph group. Both groups will do either the 37 or 48 mile routes based on group preference at start time.

What: Virginia Capital Trail Century
Where: Great Shiplock Park, Intersection of Dock and Pear St or 2803 Dock Street, Richmond, VA
Join us on the Virginia Capital Trail as we go out to Jamestown and back. We will stop at Jamestown for lunch at the visitor center. The ride leader expects to average between 15 to 17 mph.

Welcome to the annual Cannonball Century scheduled for Saturday, September 26th, 2020. We are happy to have you join us in partnering with the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank. A portion of the proceeds from your registration will help to feed those in need.
The ride starts and ends at Curtis Park in Hartwood, Virginia (Northwest Fredericksburg) with start of ride as early as 7:30 AM. There are three route options and you can plan for a distance now but feel free to change onsite.
